Age Requirements
  U9   born between 8-1-01 and 7-31-02
  U10   born between 8-1-00 and 7-31-01
  U11   born between 8-1-99 and 7-31-00
  U12   born between 8-1-98 and 7-31-99


Players should attend their age appropriate tryout/assessment.  If wishing to play up then approval of the director of coaches, academy director, or select director is needed.

Please note:  players must wear shin guards, cleats can be worn for tryouts, and each player should bring a ball and something to drink

When arriving please come to the main gate to sign in and receive a number.  Parents will be given an informational handout.  Parents are not allowed onto the fields during evaluations.

Evaluation Format

 

5:30 – 6:00
6:00 – 6:30 

6:30 – 6:40
6:40 – 6:50
6:50 – 6:55
6:55 – 7:05
7:05 – 7:10
7:10 – 7:20
7:20 – 7:25
7:25 – 7:45

 Registration/Sign-in
Fundamental/warm-up: Coaches will warm-up players using technical skills of choice.
Break/Organize teams
4v4: Game #1
Break
4v4: Game #2
Break
4v4: Game #3
Break
Open: Coaches can work on desired skills and/or “cool down”

 

·         Each player will be rated according to:
Technical skill                       Physical
Tactical Awareness             Psychological

·         We will use the same format playing 8v8 the second night

·         The third night of evaluations will consist of some 4v4 and 8v8 games. Coaches will decide what they prefer.
