Dacula Soccer Club
Developmental Academy
Team Player/Parent Responsibilities & Coaching
Expectations
Playing soccer should be a fun, positive experience for
all players. Soccer does require a high level of
commitment by the player, the player’s parents and the
coach. Every player is at a different beginning point
depending on past soccer experiences and their
individual commitment to the sport. Soccer at this
level is competitive and requires a greater focus and
dedication by the player. The coaches will focus on
taking your player from where they are now as a soccer
player and moving them to the next level. The primary
goal of the Developmental Academy is Player
Development, not Wins & Losses. Players should
expect to improve their technical skill, tactical
understanding of the game and their ability to use both
to improve their level of team play.
