Rainout Procedures!!
In the event of rain on gamedays, DSC will determine if games will be played or not. Deciding
factors include severity of rain, thunder/lightning, and if damage to the fields may occur. If
games are cancelled then a message will be sent to all the coaches. It is the coaches responsibility
to inform the parents. We will also put a message on our answering machine at the park and post it
onto the website. Do not call the parks and recreation department.
Weather message: 678-407-2100 then press 1
Coaches check the rain line during weekdays when we have
inclement weather conditions. Sometimes it's necessary
to close the fields for practices and the rain line is the
only way we have to get the message to coaches with such
short notice.
