U13 Girls
David Hayes:
David is in his second year at DSC
comes with and extensive playing career. Dave played his HS soccer at Thomas
Stone HS and moved on to play college at Southern Maryland Community College and
Wingate University. Following his college career, David played professionally
for D.C. United where he was part of an MLS Championship team. He then moved on
to the Chicago Fire and eventually into the USL where he played for the
Milwaukee Rampage, Rochester Rhinos, Richmond Kickers, Atlanta Silverbacks, and
the Portland Timbers. David is a Hall of Fame member at Thomas Stone High School
and Southern Maryland CC. While playing in the USL David was named first team
All-League two times, served as a Co-Captain with Atlanta, Captain with
Portland, and was named “defender of the year” in 2007 and “runner up” in 2008
and 2009. David has held various coaching roles at Waldorf Soccer Club,
Alpharetta Ambush, Chattahoochee HS, and was part of the Portland Timbers PDL
staff. David holds his USSF A’ license.

Brad Sullivan
Brad will be in his third year with DSC. He grew up playing club soccer for the
Brookwood Steamers and Mountain Park. Brad was a four-year varsity starter at
Greater Atlanta Christian where held the record for career goals until a few
years ago. As a senior he helped lead GAC to the state finals and was also a
First Team All-State selection. Following graduation Brad headed to play for
Reinhardt College where he was a starter for two years. He helped lead
Reinhardt to the National Tournament both years. In his freshman year
Reinhardt’s only loss came in the national championship game. Brad has
previously coached for five years with AYSA as an academy coach and trainer. He
also served as an assist coach for various boys team from U13 to U18. Brad holds
his State D’ License.

U14 Girls
Justin Moore
Justin will be in his third year at DSC. He grew up in Lilburn and played his
Club Ball for Stone Mountain and Concorde Fire. Justin attended Parkview High
School where his team won the 2001 State Championship. During that same year
Justin was awarded the Adidas ESP Golden Boot Award and finished his HS career
as the 2002 Georgia Player of the Year. After graduating from Parkview, Justin
attended Clemson University where he earned a Special Education Degree. He was
also a 4-year starter for a very good Clemson team. He was an All-ACC selection
in 2004 and was a member of the NCAA Final Four All-Tournament team in 2005.
Justin was selected #15 in the 2006 MLS Super-Draft and has spent time playing
in MLS for Dallas and also in the USL for the Atlanta Silverbacks. Justin has
represented the United States as a member of the U-18 and U-20 National Teams.
Before joining DSC Justin coached U11 and U12 boys at Norcross Soccer
Association.

Girls
Robert Mangino
Rob serves as the Director of Coaching for DSC. He played HS Soccer at
Pioneer Central where he was voted a member of the All- Western New York team
his senior year. Rob played his college soccer at Alfred University and SUNY
Fredonia both in upstate New York. He was the head Boy’s soccer coach at Dacula
High School for 11 years where he helped begin the program. Rob has been
involved with soccer in the Dacula community for the past 17 years as a
community school coach, camp director, and most recently Dacula Soccer Club. Rob
is part of the GYSA coaching staff where he teaches the G’ and F’ state coaching
licenses. Rob holds his USSF National C’, US National Youth License, NSCAA
National Youth Diploma, NSCAA Advanced National Diploma.

U17/19 Girls
Anthony
Katzef
Anthony
will be in his second year at Dacula Soccer Club. He was born in Cape Town South
Africa. Anthony started his soccer career at age 10 and by 16 was playing with a
professional team. He was the youngest player at the club to be offered a
contract. He also represented South Africa at the U-16 level. Anthony grew up
playing soccer with many of the English players who transferred to South Africa
to end their soccer careers. Some of the players he remembers well are Bobby
Moore, English International, Ian St John, and Gary Bailey the former
Manchester United Goalkeeper . Anthony immigrated to the USA 16 years ago and is
a Store Director for a large Pet retailer. He holds a D license.

U13 Boys
Drew Prentice
Drew is in his fourth year coaching at DSC. Drew played at Young Harris College
where he was a captain his sophomore year. He then transferred to North Georgia
College and State University where he was a contributing member to the most
successful men's soccer team in the school's history. His junior year the team
competed in the NAIA-SSAC Conference and his senior year in the NCAA Div. II
Peachbelt Conference. Drew was recently named the Head Coach at Collins Hill
HS. Previously Drew was an assistant varsity and head JV coach at North Gwinnett
High School where he taught math. He will be teaching math at Collins Hill
beginning this fall. Drew holds his USSF B License and his US National Youth
License.

Daniel Thernize
Daniel
will be in his fifth year with Dacula Soccer Club. He played his college ball at
Hunter College in New York State where he was named a member of the
All-Metropolitan team in 1982-1984. Daniel continued his playing career both in
the United States and abroad and still plays adult soccer in the Atlanta area.
He has been coaching in the Atlanta area for 12 years with both boys and girls
teams. His experience coaching many age groups and different genders will be an
asset to DSC. Daniel holds his USSF B license.

Mike Wentzler
Mike will be in his second year at Dacula Soccer Club. He played his High School
soccer at Duluth HS and earned a 2002 All-County player award. Mike continued
his playing career at Berry College where he was a two-time All-American as a
goal keeper (2006&2007). In addition he was awarded the 2007 Southern States
Athletic Conference Player of the Year. Mike currently teaches Chemistry at
Duluth HS and also coaches the JV Boys soccer team. Mike has coached at numerous
soccer camps including Joe Machnik's No. 1 Goalkeeper Camp, Tavani Soccer Camps,
and Mount Berry Soccer Academy. Mike holds a National D' coaching license.

Chris Ming
Chris is in his fourth year of coaching at Dacula Soccer Club. He is currently
the head boys Varsity coach at Loganville High School. Before heading to
Loganville Chris served as the JV boys head coach and assistant Varsity coach at
Grayson High School for three years. Chris hails from Highland, Michigan where
he played high school soccer for Milford HS and club soccer for the Brighton
United Express, a Little Caesarâ’s Division 1 team. Chris holds his NSCAA
National Diploma and an NSCAA State Goalkeeping Diploma.
