New DSC Staff

Dacula Soccer Club's Board of Directors is pleased to announce the hiring of Mike Keeney as the Director of Coaching (DOC). Mike comes to Dacula Soccer from Finland, where he has been coaching for the past two years. Prior to coaching in Finland, Mike has served as a professional team assistant coach, a college assistant coach and a Director of Coaching in the United States and abroad. Mike currently holds a 'B' License with the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and a 'B' License with Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).

Mike coached at various levels while in Finland, from youth to the Veikkausliiga which is the Finnish Premier League. In 2009, he was the Assistant Coach at FC Viikingit for the Men’s 1st team. Mike also coached the A Juniors (Under 19 Boys) team. They won the 1st division and were elevated to the ASM (Finnish National league) for the first time in the 45 year history of the club. In 2010, Mike continued with FC Viikingit as Assistant Coach and DOC. The men’s team is currently in 2nd place in the 1st division. Mike was an Assistant Coach at Myllykoski Pallo (MyPa), the team plays in the Veikkausliiga along with the UEFA Europa League. This is one level below the UEFA Champions League.

Before going to Finland, Mike worked at University of Kentucky as an Assistant Coach for Men’s Soccer and also trained several teams at the Thoroughbreds Soccer Club. Mike was the DOC at Hoover Soccer Club in Birmingham, Alabama for four years. While at Hoover Soccer Club, he also served as the Men’s Soccer Assistant Coach at the University of Alabama – Birmingham (UAB). Prior to that, he was the DOC at Bluegrass Soccer Club in Versailles, Kentucky and served as the Men’s Soccer Assistant coach at the University of Kentucky. He was a staff coach at Javanon Soccer Club in Louisville, Kentucky where he also worked as the Men’s Soccer Assistant Coach at the University of Louisville.

Mike was an ODP staff coach and coaching course instructor while in Kentucky and Alabama. He brings an abundance of experience, knowledge and leadership qualities to Dacula Soccer Club. Dacula Soccer Club is delighted to announce that Steven Fraser has been named as the Boys Academy Director. Steven is in his fifth year at DSC as a coach in the Academy program. Steven Fraser's Profile
Steven will be in his fifth year at Dacula Soccer Club. Steven was born and raised in Nottingham, England although having a very strong Scottish influence with both parents hailing from "North of the Border." Steven's Father, Doug Fraser was an F.A. Cup winner with West Brom in 1968 and also captained Scotland at the International level. Although not quite emulating these achievements Steven also went on to play in the Professional ranks in England for Grimsby Town and Lincoln City and had the opportunity to play against some great players, the highlight being, Alan Shearer on his full debut for Newcastle after his then record breaking transfer from Southampton. After his professional stint Steven went back to school and earned a degree in Leisure Management and is now The Director of Operations for a local landscape company. Steven holds a UEFA Coaching badge as well as his US National Youth License.
